Palawan: “Tama na! Sobra na! Itigil niyo na ang Pagmimina!“

I’ve been to the magnificent island of Palawan and I’ve found what really nature is all about. But as of today because of this mining which little by little shattered the nature’s wealth of the place I’m afraid that when I’ll be back to Palawan it will no longer be a wonderful site but instead a horrible spot. I accused the multi million mining company which operates in Palawan for devastating not only the nature’s possession of that place but also the future of our next generation.

Let us not be blinded of what is really happening in Palawan… Let us have that awareness that our nature’s assets is already at stake. If only Palawan can utter a word I’m pretty much sure that she will state this phrase:

“Tama na! Sobra na! Itigil niyo na ang Pagmimina!“

I accepted the challenge!

It is with infinite pleasure to be of service to my immense department as the newly elected President. I thank you for your trust!

It is a high time for us AB English students to show to our University how intellectual and dexterous we are. I would like to encourage all of you to participate in all programs and activities of our department and always be reminded that whatever you do - either good or bad it would always bounce back to our department, so always be cautious of the words you are using and the gestures you are showing.

Rests assure that I will carry out to the best of my capabilities my duties and responsibilities as your president.

Divorce Issue

I'm going to support divorce granting that there are enough precautions so that the foundation of matrimony will not be underestimated. It means to say that the circumstances and basis for divorce should be exceedingly strict.

I’m not into those very broadminded divorces as what we observe to foreign countries but ours should have an inflexible machinery to circumvent the law from being abused.
